Before adding a rate card to an offer or option you have to:

  1. Create a new offer or option.
  2. Determine the details from the Header tab in the New offer or New option screen.
  3. Click the Save button to save your offer or option.

To add a rate card:

  1. Click the Financial tab. This opens the Financial screen. For a description of the different table columns, refer to Table columns - Rate cards

  2. Click the Add wave button to add a rate card. This opens the Add wave modal window. 
  3. Select a category from the Pick a category drop-down menu and click the Show rates button. This opens a table that shows all rates from the active rate cards. For a description of the different table columns, refer to Table columns - Rate cards
  4. To add a rate, click the rate you wish to add from the tabulated overview. An overview appears displaying the details of the rate, such as the accompanying commercial products.
  5. In the From field, use the calendar to select the date the delivery of the commercial products starts. 
  6. In the Until field, use the calendar to select the date the delivery of the commercial products ends. 
  7. Click the Add to campaign button to add the rate to the offer or option. You can now find the rate in the Financial tab. 
  8. Click the Save button.
  9. If you wish to add another rate to the campaign, repeat the above procedure. 

When entering a quantity for the rate, the budget will adjust accordingly based on the pricing details of the rate. 

The Financial tab enables to add a cost or discount to a specific rate or to the entire campaign:

  • To add a cost or discount to a specific rate:
    • Click add cost/discount. This opens the Add discount modal window.

    • In the Discount type field, select the type of discount or cost (e.g. an added cost or a discount rate) and specify the value.
    • In the Comment field, select the reason why you grant a discount or add a cost. 
    • Click the Save button.
    • If several discounts or costs are added, you can adjust the position of the rate cost or discount in order to change its influence to the rate budget. To move a rate cost or discount, click the arrows next to the discount or cost. 
    • To delete a rate cost or discount, click the minus  icon.
  • To add a cost or discount to the campaign:
    • Click add campaign cost/discount. This opens the Add discount modal window.
    • In the Discount type field, select the type of discount or cost (e.g. an added cost or a discount rate) and specify the value.
    • In the Comment field, select the reason why you grant a discount or add a cost. 
    • Click the Save button.
    • If several discounts or costs are added, you can adjust the position of a campaign cost or discount in order to change its influence to the campaign budget. To move a campaign cost or discount, click the arrows next to the cost or discount. 
    • To delete a campaign cost or discount, click the minus  icon. 

The last part of the Financial tab makes a summary of the figures:

  • The Campaign subtotal takes the individual discounts or surpluses for the rates into account and summarizes the total cost of the campaign before an additional cost or discount is applied.  
  • The Total figure summarizes the final cost of the campaign as an additional discount (e.g. an agency fee) or surplus can be applied to the Campaign subtotal
  • The Total discount or Total surplus figures sums up the total discount or cost that is applied to the complete campaign. 

The commercial products of a rate are added as individual bookings to the campaign. Dependent upon the properties that are previously determined in the Administration screen (refer to Create a new rate card), you are still able to tweak the commercial products' properties in the Header tab of a booking. You only cannot adjust the pricing details if they are already defined in the rate.

You cannot make changes in the Financial tab when the type property has changed from offer or option to campaign.
